Why We Made It
Your feet are the foundations from which every movement stems and we realised that athletes could be leaving vital seconds, kilos and yards out on the field by using standard sport socks.
We wanted to enhance in-shoe foot stability by using grip but we realised that just 1 layer was simply not enough.
We apply 2 layers (inside & outside) of medical-grade silicone grip to the sole of the socks. This secures your foot, sock and shoe in place helping you maximise your power output and turning speeds on the track, court or field helping you to recover those important margins that you would otherwise lose out on.
Lightweight ankle support, optimised ventilation and durable cotton keep you comfortable season after season.
The Grip
We teamed up with PremGripp™ to take what is possible with grip socks to the next level :
1. Medical-grade silicone for our grips → the smooth flexible silicone lasts longer, prevents blisters and creates the strongest grip on the market.
2. Grips inside + outside of the sock → the sock grips both your foot and your shoe = double the grip.
3. Arranging the grips in an ‘off-set’ pattern → prevents pressure points created by grips stacked on top of each other and allows the grips to work in all directions.
These 3 patented features give you unrivalled grounding and power transfer with every stride.
Pro Tips and Care
Here’s some great advice from our founders and pro athletes:
1. Wash before first wear.
We highly recommend this step as an initial wash will encourage the fibres to shrink by 3-5% ensuring a snug and secure fit the first time you wear them giving the very best contact for the silicone to grip the bottom of your foot. This initial shrinkage will then stretch out around the natural contours of your foot over the first few wears giving a more bespoke and comfortable fit. You absolutely do not have to do this step, the grip will still work very well, however you will not get the most out of the socks on the first wear.
2. Pull-on well to ensure a form fit and full contact of your foot with the internal grip
3. If you are between sizes or at the lower end of a size (eg, size 8), always size down; you need the sock to be snug for the to be effective.
