The GRIP SOCKS.

Applicable to all Hard Yards grip socks, please follow the below to maximise their lifespan.

  1. Wash before 1st wear

  2. For the 1st wash, always wash separately from other garments.

  3. Wash at 30oC or below with similar colours.

  4. Dry flat.

  5. Never tumble dry.

  6. Never iron the silicone grips.

  7. Never steep in detergents or bleach products.

  8. Between wears, store folded flat to ensure the maximum longevity of your socks. The elastic cuff may stretch over time if rolled into a ball!

We highly recommend following step 1 as an initial wash will encourage the fibres to shrink by 3-5% ensuring a snug and secure fit the first time you wear them giving the very best contact for the silicone to grip the bottom of your foot. This initial shrinkage will then stretch out around the natural contours of your foot over the first few wears giving a more bespoke and comfortable fit. You absolutely do not have to do this step, the grip will still work very well, however you will not get the most out of the socks on the first wear.

The HIGH IMPACT PROTECTIVE SWEATBAND SET.

  1. Remove the protective guard from the internal pocket.

  2. Do not wash Sweatband and Guard together.

The SWEATBAND.

To keep your Hard Yards Sweatband in top condition season-after-season, follow the below steps:

Sweatband

  1. Remove any items from the internal pocket prior to washing.

  2. Wash the sweatband at 30 degrees with similar colours.

  3. Dry flat and never tumble dry

  4. Iron on a medium-high heat while still slightly damp if a neat finish is desired.

  5. Store in your Hard Yards kit bag to prevent early wear and tear while not in use.

Composition - 45% Cotton, 50% Polyamide, 5% Elastane.

The Guard.

  1. Never machine wash the impact guard.

  2. Clean with warm water using a lightly damp cloth.

  3. If soaked by hand washing or wet weather the protective properties of the material are temporarily reduced. Please keep this in mind and ensure the guard is fully dry before wearing it again.

Composition - Aerated dilatant fluid + polyol composite.

The Kit Bag.

Sometimes your kit bag will look a little dirty and beaten up while it does its job to protect your Hard Yards gear. Feel free to freshen things up as below.

  1. Wash at 30oC or below with similar colours.

  2. Dry flat.

  3. Never tumble dry.

  4. Iron on a medium-high heat while still slightly damp if a crisp finish is desired.

  5. Do not iron directly over the printed text.

Composition - 100% Cotton.

The Sock Sleeve.

Please follow the below to maximise the lifespan.

  1. Wash at 30oC or below with similar colours.

  2. Dry flat.

  3. Never tumble dry.

  4. Never iron.

  5. Never steep in detergents or bleach products.
