Why We Made It
Up to x9 your bodyweight drives through your front foot when you hit the crease at the end of your run up. These forces increase the risk of a season-ending toe/ankle injury.
To prevent unwanted foot movement and help you to find your rhythm we’ve integrated 2 layers of our patented medical-grade silicone grip to the inside & outside of the sock, giving you the confidence to bowl at pace each and every over.
Designed to protect your feet, we’ve doubled up the density of the ankle and toe padding in this heavier-weight sock to ensure you are injury-free from run-up to wicket. Custom ventilation over the foot keeps your feet cool and dry all-innings long.
‘‘Fast bowling is tough and takes its toll on the body. Choosing the right pair of socks is the small but significant change that optimises your performance and prolongs your career. We’ve teamed up with Hard Yards to bring you a sock which is manufactured and developed to the absolute highest standard, engineered specifically for pace bowlers.’’

The Grip
We teamed up with PremGripp™ to take what is possible with grip socks to the next level :
1. Medical-grade silicone for our grips → the smooth flexible silicone lasts longer, prevents blisters and creates the strongest grip on the market.
2. Grips inside + outside of the sock → the sock grips both your foot and your shoe = double the grip.
3. Arranging the grips in an ‘off-set’ pattern → prevents pressure points created by grips stacked on top of each other and allows the grips to work in all directions.
These 3 patented features give you unrivalled grounding and power transfer with every stride.
Pro Tips from Tymal
Here’s some great advice from Tymal at Pace Journal:
1. Wash before your first wear > these socks are made to shrink just enough to make them fit like a glove, this is what you want to maximise their effectiveness and impact on your game.
2. Pull the socks on fully so there’s no loose fabric > this makes sure the grips will be in full contact with your feet and will do what they are designed to.
3. If you are between sizes or at the lower end of a size range (eg, size 8), always size down; you need the sock to be snug for the to be effective.
